Roast Beef Sandwich Recipe with Arugula and Shaved Parmesan

featured 22126

This Roast Beef Sandwich with arugula and shaved Parmesan on a crusty baguette is my go-to for a quick, satisfying lunch—perfect for taking on the go or packing in a lunchbox.

Roast Beef Sandwich with Arugula

Best Roast Beef Sandwich

A great roast beef sandwich balances rich, savory meat with bright, peppery greens and a touch of salty, nutty cheese. The crunchy baguette or French bread gives a satisfying bite, while thinly sliced roast beef provides tender, protein-rich flavor. Fresh baby arugula (often called rocket) adds a lively peppery note that cuts through the meat’s richness, and shaved Parmesan lends a savory, slightly sharp finish. A crack of fresh black pepper at the end brings everything together. This sandwich is ideal for a quick lunch and is a smart way to use leftover roast beef. If you prefer a warm sandwich, you can easily heat the beef and melt the cheese for a heartier variation.
