7 Day High Protein Diet Meal Plan
Wishing you and your family a healthy and joyful holiday season. Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, this plan offers dishes to bring to gatherings or to serve at home — from roast beef and latkes to breakfast casseroles, pancakes, mocktails and desserts. It’s designed to make healthy, protein-forward eating simple during busy weeks.
A Note About the New WW Points Plan
Weight Watchers recently adjusted the ZeroPoint foods list, including oatmeal. Recipe points are updated through the WW recipe builder and may take time to reflect on every recipe page. If you see updated points for a recipe, leaving a comment on that recipe helps speed up the updates for others.
Why High Protein?
I’ve followed a high-protein approach for several years to build muscle and improve satiety. Eating higher protein meals helps me feel stronger and reduces cravings for sweets and snacks between meals. This meal plan is intended to help you reach daily protein targets by distributing protein across meals and snacks. For example, if your daily goal is 120 grams, aim for roughly 30 grams per main meal and 10–30 grams across snacks.
If you’re unsure about how much protein you need, consult a reliable nutrition resource or your healthcare provider. This plan is a helpful guide, but individual needs vary by age, activity level, and health goals.
How the Plan Works
These meal plans are intended as a flexible guide. There’s plenty of room to add coffee, beverages, fruit, snacks, dessert, or additional sides. Swap meals to suit your taste or dietary needs. Aim for at least 1,500 calories per day as a baseline for many women, adjusting up or down based on your personal goals and guidance from a nutrition professional.
Important Health Note
If you have kidney or liver disease, gout, certain metabolic disorders, or reduced kidney function, you may need to limit protein intake. Always consult your healthcare provider or a registered dietitian before significantly increasing protein in your diet, especially if you have underlying conditions.
