Why Meal Planning Matters
Meal planning simplifies your week, saves time and reduces grocery costs. Planning ahead helps you stick to nutrition and weight-loss goals by avoiding last-minute choices. For more structure, there’s a printable Skinnytaste Meal Planner available for pre-order to help you organize shopping, recipes and weekly menus.
About This Plan
This free, 7-day healthy meal plan is intended as a flexible guide. You can swap any recipe, add snacks, coffee, fruit, dessert or an occasional glass of wine. Breakfasts and weekday lunches are sized for one person; dinners and weekend meals are scaled to serve a family of four. Many recipes yield leftovers that work well for lunches or second-night dinners. Aim for roughly 1,500 calories per day as a general target for women; calorie needs vary, so adjust as necessary.
The plan includes a complete grocery list organized by category to make shopping faster and less stressful. Check your pantry first—many common condiments and staples may already be on hand. If you use Facebook, join the Skinnytaste community to share photos, tips and swaps from the plan. If you’d like to receive meal plans by email, subscribe to the newsletter so you don’t miss future menus.
