A little girl named Mary was struggling with her art assignment. While the rest of the children handed in beautiful drawings, Mary turned in a blank piece of paper. Confused, the teacher said, “Mary dear, the assignment was to submit a drawing of some sort. All you have given me is a blank sheet of paper.”

Mary answered, “I did draw something — it’s a picture of God!”

Again confused, the teacher responded, “But darling, God has no form. We don’t know what God looks like.”

To which Mary responded, “So you are going to give me an ‘A’ then?”
