7 Day High Protein Diet Meal Plan
Spring is on the horizon—longer days, fresh produce and a renewed desire to eat lighter and cleaner. With the first seasonal vegetables appearing, like tender spinach, peppery arugula, radishes and crisp carrots, this meal plan leans into fresh flavors while prioritizing protein to support strength, recovery, and sustained energy.
This plan is designed to be practical and flexible: use it as a guide, swap recipes to suit your tastes, and add snacks or beverages as needed. All recipes include macro breakdowns and Weight Watchers points so you can easily track intake.
Update About New WW Points Plan
Weight Watchers recently updated its 0-point foods (oatmeal is now included). Recipe updates are ongoing and may take time to reflect the new plan. Most recipes have been updated from 2018 through 2025. Each recipe links to the WW recipe builder (mobile only), which will calculate the updated points automatically.
Why High Protein?
A high-protein approach can support muscle growth, improve satiety, and reduce cravings. Many people find that increasing daily protein helps them feel fuller longer and avoid snacking on less nutritious options. For planning purposes, protein can be distributed evenly across meals—aiming for roughly 30 grams per main meal, with extra protein in snacks if needed. If you’re unsure about your ideal daily protein target, consult a registered dietitian or a reliable nutrition guide to find a recommendation tailored to your needs.
How It Works
These meal plans are intended as a flexible framework. Breakfasts and lunches Monday through Friday are portioned for one person; dinners and weekend meals are scaled for a family of four. Recipes may yield leftovers that serve as next-day lunches. The included grocery list contains everything needed for the week. Depending on individual goals, this plan generally assumes a baseline of about 1,500 calories per day for women, though needs vary by age, activity level, and body composition—consult a nutrition professional for personalized guidance.
Note
People with kidney or liver disease, gout, certain metabolic disorders, or older adults with reduced kidney function should consult a healthcare provider before increasing protein intake. Always check with a doctor or registered dietitian when making substantial dietary changes, especially if you have preexisting health concerns.
If you’re active in online communities, consider joining recipe groups where people share photos and tips for adaptations. Subscribing to the meal plan mailing list ensures you won’t miss future weekly plans or high-protein recipe updates.
