7-Day Healthy Meal Plan

I enjoyed a wonderful holiday with my family and I hope you had time with loved ones too. Vacations don’t always mean staying strictly on plan, and that’s okay — balance and trying new foods can be part of a healthy lifestyle. Back home, I’ve returned to regular workouts, walks, and a goal of adding at least one cup of vegetables to each meal. Meal prepping makes busy days manageable with recipes like Meal Prep Breakfast Taco Scramble, Greek Chickpea Salad, and Food Cart–Style Chicken Salad with Sauce.

With grocery costs rising, many of us are adjusting budgets and getting creative with meals. One of the most effective ways to save money and maintain healthy habits is to plan your meals in advance. Meal planning reduces food waste, saves time, and makes shopping easier.

About This Meal Plan

This free, flexible 7-day meal plan is intended to be a helpful guide. It includes room for modifications — you can add coffee, beverages, fruit, snacks, dessert, wine, or swap any recipe for one you prefer. If you’re new here, I publish these weekly meal plans to make healthy eating approachable and simple. Depending on your goals, aim for roughly 1500 calories per day as a general benchmark; individual needs vary by age, weight, activity level, and goals.

The plan includes a clear grocery list to simplify shopping and keep you stocked for the week. Planning ahead reduces wasted food, helps you cook at home more often, and saves time and money.

Join the Skinnytaste community on Facebook to share photos and ideas from the recipes you’re making. If you’d like to receive meal plans by email, subscribe to the newsletter so you don’t miss future plans.
